I think this is my very first Agatha Christie book – certainly I don’t recall reading any others, although I have seen movie versions many times.
I enjoyed it very, very much.
This is a Hercules Poirot book.
The non-spoiler summary is M. Porot has bought a small weekender in the country near a stately residence call ‘The Hollow’. Lucy, the lady of the house, is from the Angkatell family and some of her family is gathering for the weekend, along with some friends.
Needless to say, someone will be murdered, and M. Poirot will be drawn in to try to solve it.
I really enjoyed this, far more than I thought I would, and I will be looking at more Agatha Christie books!
